Meet Jennifer

Jennifer Banh, LCSW

My name is Jennifer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Orange County, CA. I bring over a decade of experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I have successfully worked with children, adults, and seniors across various settings, including schools, hospitals, and several social service agencies. I also served as a Clinical Supervisor to Social Work Associates who are working towards their licensure.

My passion for providing therapy comes from both personal experiences and a love for helping others. My experience as a First Generation Asian American, Organ Transplant Survivor, IVF Warrior, Caregiver, Working Mother and Entrepreneur, impacts the way I support my clients in the therapeutic relationship. I choose to lead every session with empathy, compassion, and cultural humility.

I have taken special interest in treating individuals with Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Work-Life Burnout, Grief/Loss, Chronic Health Issues, Reproductive and Maternal Mental Health issues. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can express themselves freely without fear or judgment. In therapy, clients begin to make sense of their critical thoughts and overwhelming feelings, unlearn harmful beliefs, and break unhealthy patterns and cycles.

I often integrate different approaches to therapy including Cognitive Based Therapy, Strength-Based, Solution Focused, Self-Compassion, and Mindfulness when appropriate.
